Our “Caught Caring” program continues to be a cornerstone for recognizing students and adults for displaying the PYP student attitudes and learner profiles. This year our theme is “lightbulbs”. Students receive a “lightbulb” from a staff member, which describes their behavior in terms of which attitude or learner profile they exhibited. An announcement is made every day over the PA system to recognize these students. We are also continuing to use the important lessons from the book “Have You Filled a Bucket Today?” by reinforcing kindness and appreciation. Students fill classroom buckets and a school-wide bucket with gems they have earned by “filling someone’s bucket”.
